Verteil Technologies, based in Infopark, Kochi, Kerala , India is a travel technology company disrupting the 40-year-old legacy airline distribution space with their direct connect solution Verteil Direct Connect (VDC) based on IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) standards.
NDC is the new distribution standard introduced by IATA to overcome the limitations of legacy pre-internet era technologies powering the traditional Global Distribution Systems (GDS). VDC provides a direct connect based eco-system between the airlines on one side and the travel companies on the other side removing all intermedieries in the process.
Verteil is an early player in the NDC distribution space transforming the US $ 700 bn+ airline passenger industry. Started in 2016, Verteil identified the opportunity very early with a rightful prediction of this industry transformation from legacy tech to direct connect model.
Verteil already has partnerships with 25 leading airlines, including Lufthansa Group, British Airways, American Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad etc, with roadmap to expand the partner base to 75+ airlines by end of 2022.
